HCA’s Jr. Beta Club is teaming with the Spiritual Life
office to sponsor a food drive to help feed local, needy senior citizens and
families throughout the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons. The food drive
officially begins on October 16, 2012 and ends on November 16, 2012.
The club needs your help with collecting food. If you are
not a student at HCA, food donations may be submitted to Mr. Hunter, the Jr.
Beta advisor. If you are a student, be sure to submit your food donations to
your teacher. A member of the Jr. Beta Club will come to your classroom each
Friday morning to collect the food. The Jr. Beta Club food committee will
maintain a tally of the food collected. The homeroom/class that collects the
most food by November 16 at 12:00 will win a Christmas pizza party.
Be sure that the food items you bring are non-perishable.
Canned foods like canned vegetables, fruits, and meats, and boxed foods are acceptable.
